생체 모방형 안드로이드 로봇의 등장 <클론 로보틱스>

폴란드 소재의 안드로이드 회사 ‘클론 로보틱스(@clonerobotics)’는 다누쉬 라다크리슈난과 우카시 코일릭이라는 두 인물에 의해 의해 2021년 설립되었다. 이들은 일상 생활에서 필요한 노동을 처리할 수 있는 생체모방 지능형 로봇의 상용화을 목표로 한다.

클론 로보틱스의 진보된 기술은 꽤나 충격적이게 다가온다. 이들의 첫 제품인 생체모방 설계로 제작된 ‘클론 핸드’는 당시 세계 안드로이드 로봇 학계를 충격에 빠뜨렸다. 마치 공상과학 영화에 나올 것만 같은 실루엣과 실제 근육을 모티브로한 움직임은 우리가 상상하는 인간 복제 로봇 ‘클론’의 현실화를 마주한 것만 같다.

이들은 인공 근육 기술인 ‘미오파이버’를 사용해 실제 근섬유와 같은 밀도, 무게, 강도를 재연한다. 이들은 인공 로봇 팔을 넘어 토르소 형태의 로봇을 제작했으며, 최근엔 전신 로봇을 구현해내고 있다. 이들은 현재 해당 안드로이드 클론에 대해 선주문을 받고 있으며 공식 SNS를 통해 무서운 속도로 개발되어가는 클론의 형태를 공유하고 있다.


Clone Robotics, an Android company based in Poland, was founded in 2021 by Dhanush Ladakrishnan and Łukasz Koilick. Their goal is to commercialize biomimetic intelligent robots that can perform tasks necessary for daily life.

The advanced technology developed by Clone Robotics is quite shocking. Their first product, the Clone Hand, made with biomimetic design, stunned the global Android robotics community at the time. With a silhouette straight out of a science fiction movie and movements inspired by real muscles, it feels like we're witnessing the reality of human-replica robots, or "clones."

They use artificial muscle technology called MyoFiber, which replicates the density, weight, and strength of real muscle fibers. Moving beyond robotic arms, they have created torso-shaped robots and are now working on full-body robots. They are currently accepting pre-orders for these Android clones, and they regularly share updates on the rapidly developing prototypes through their official social media channels.
